Luke was recently photographed by Kurt Iswarienko for BlackBook and Mark Squires for Giant Magazine. Photos from both shoots have been added, together with some caps of Luke behind the scenes at the shoots for Giant and last September’s 944.

ABC released some stills for episode 3.20 of “Brothers & Sisters” (“Missing”, airing on March 22) and Luke is in four of them, confirming that he will be in this episode aswell.

Discussing this Sunday’s two-hour episode with The Futon Critic, executive producers Alison Schapker and Monica Owusu-Breen also talked about Luke’s character. Here’s what they said:

Ryan Lafferty (Luke Grimes), the recently discovered half-sibling of the Walkers has now turned up on the series and, correct me if I’m wrong, I sense a lot of drama on the horizon. Just watching him, I was thinking this guy is trouble.

AS: Ryan is a big catalyst for drama and I think some of our fans have certainly called the show out on just recycling a plot that we sort of did with Rebecca so we feel the onus to bring that story to a different place and we think we have.

MOB: He comes back and he needs answers to specific questions that will reveal themselves.

AS: But in his need to find out more about what happened to his mother and what her relationship was like with William (Tom Skerritt), it will effect everybody else’s story. He has a big role to play. For us, this show lives and dies in its execution and, for that, each character has to have a three-dimensional point of view and Ryan will come in with that as well. He won’t be easily put into a box. He will stir up trouble but it is our hope that he does it in a way that people can relate to. It’s not an easy story to take sides on.

Luke is better known for starring in the indie thriller “All the Boys Love Mandy Lane” and portraying Ryan Lafferty in the current season of “Brothers & Sisters” (new double episode this Sunday at 9/8c on ABC).
