New project: “Man Under Water”
July 30th, 2009 @ 02:05 pm › 0 comments
Photographer Tommy Kha has recently posted some rather interesting information and photos on his blog:
Production Log: Man Under Water
I had the opportunity to work on a teaser trailer about a month ago with (despite Texan city names) Memphis-born Austin Wages and Houston Wages and actor/director Luke Grimes (of ABC’s Brothers and Sisters). Monica Summerfield decided to pursue producer roles so this was her first gig to do so. Rounding out the smaller crew members are filmmaker Eric Swartz, Sarah Fleming and a few other people I forgot their names. [...]
We’re hoping that this teaser trailer will spawn a budget and a larger production by next year.

LukeGrimes.net is famous!
July 24th, 2009 @ 12:13 am › 3 comments
Kind of… Ok, not really. LukeGrimes.net is mentioned in the August 2009 issue of australian magazine “Dolly”. Isn’t it awesome? Oh, and there’s also a photo of Luke and some write-up (he’s a hottie, he comes from Ohio, he resembles Robert Pattinson… the usual things).
Thanks to the awesome Sam for the heads up and the scan of the article.

Luke to be featured in VMan again
July 21st, 2009 @ 12:00 am › 0 comments
I have just learned that Luke will be once again featured in VMan; presumibly (but I am just guessing here) the upcoming fall 2009 issue hitting newststand around mid August (the current summer issue is displayed until August 11th).
The photoshoot took place last Saturday (July 18) at Duke’s on Sunset in West Hollywood and previews of the photos will probably be released on VMan official site soon. I’ll keep you posted.
Thanks Page Bingham for the info.

Luke promoted to series regular
July 16th, 2009 @ 06:22 am › 2 comments
According to German blog Serienjunkies.de (read Google translation clicking here) Luke has been promoted to series regular for the forth season of “Brothers & Sisters”.
The article closes with a quote from Luke:
It’s nice to finally get a chair with my name on it on set, instead of just one labelled ‘Cast’.
If anyone who speaks German could confirm that Google translations did its job right, I would be grateful.
Edit (July 17): TV Guide Magazine is also reporting this.
The Walker dinner table is going to need an extra wine glass next season. TV Guide Magazine has learned that Luke Grimes will be added as a regular to Brothers & Sisters. He’s no stranger to the Walker clan, appearing in a guest-starring stint last year as the family patriarch’s illegitimate son, Ryan Lafferty. Now that he gets to play the role full-time, Grimes is looking forward to at least one fringe benefit. “It’s nice to finally have a chair with my name on it rather than just ‘Cast.’”
